Excellent place. Tons of options to camp at be it by the water or up on a ledge.

Really nice free campground. All the sites have a numbered picnic table & metal fire ring. Sites are mostly lumped together in groups of 2-3 with a lot of space between the groupings. I stayed several days and only a few other campers in the area. All of the pit toilets I checked out were clean, stocked and no smell. Beautiful lake views from all sites & an easy dirt road into camping area. TMobile worked okay for me, its better in some sites than others.

Report Check-In

Spent the night. Super quiet. Pit toilets were nasty.

Report Check-In

Spent the night here and it was super quiet and peaceful. Idk what provider the other person had, but if you have T-Mobile you'll have service for emergency calls only. You'll have to go all the way back out to the road to get any mobile data or non-emergency phone use.

Beautiful Sites. The way in is mostly washboard but there is an Golden Eagle nest and a Prairie Dog town to both sites of the road.

My family and I go fishing every year and tent camp at the spot. There is plenty of room to spread out. It’s mostly quiet unless you camp next to RVs. There is a nice pavilion right next to the boat dock. It will take about 15 minutes from the main road. It is rough but I’ve seen cars do.
