Something not right?

Description

Guesthouse with camping available on beautifully kept lawn with views of the volcanoes. $30 per tent per night including access to a bathroom for a hot shower. Beautiful views of the volcanoes and lovely staff. Camping with RTT in car park which is on a small slope but if you park across it you can get more or less level, given we parked in the car park we negotiated $20 for 2 of us and the car. You can also hire tents and they have rooms and also two bedroom bungalows. Lovely place.

Pass the Ellen DeGeneres Campus and turn right where there are several signs, Peak Spot included. From there, keep right until you reach the place. The last 600 meters before the gate is a very unpleasant road, with big rocks.
The staff was super nice, the breakfast was great.
The garden is beautiful, but there are few level spots.

Definitely in the car park… relatively flat. Quite an adventure getting here. Do not trust Google Maps. Keep on the tarmac until there is an actual sign on the right for Peak Spot. (Pass the One and Only on the left with the flags). Negotiated to 10USD pppn. Wonderfully serenaded by the local church choir on the Saturday late afternoon practising for Sunday service.

Nice staff, good kitchen. There is a sauna (15k to turn on takes a few hours to heat up) and a really nice campsite for ground tents ( not completely flat) if RTT then parking lot and use a chalets bathrooms. ( currently a water issue so no running water ) 15k pp, but can negotiate to 10k easily. Again better to stay here in a room or ground camp rather than RTT

What a pleasant experience in an tranquil and beautiful setting. Alex provided us with a level spot on the parking lot, gave us electricity from the n,, 4deearby office and access to a clean hot shower and toilet in a bungalow for $30 for the two of us and was willing to negotiate for $25. He made nice fire for us in the bar lounge where we had good wifi reception.

Just a heads up: if you want to stay here because of the proximity to the headquarters of Volcanoes NP (where all the activities start), know that the direct route that Google maps is showing isn't drivable for cars. You have to drive all the way around via the main road.

Alex and his team were most welcoming. The rain was coming so we stayed in a cottage where they added a bed for our kids. The road leading here is rough, take is easy.

Lovely place to stay. Owner (Amon) and staff (Alex - manager) very welcoming and accommodating. Just a heads up… the road leading up to it is quite rough. But it’s worth the drive!

An amazing view from the lawns, but not equipped for car and RTT. Alex the manager went out of his way and made a plan. 4 staff removed the fencing, and plants, filled in the rain gutter with soil and stones for us to get onto the lawn. Not 100% level but just about ok. Offered up a bathroom in a chalet, hot shower and toilet. We also had a meal here which was OK 8k for beef stew and rice. We paid 15k each and stayed for 2 nights. The view was amazing, privacy a little less as all locals pass by the fence and say hallo😂. Mtn 4g works well. Would be ideal for ground tents.
