They didn’t fill my peruvian 5kg bottle because it wasn’t completely empty. They said it has to be (almost) empty, but I just wanted to have it filled before going to Ecuador where it seems to be way more difficult to find a place to fill it. Also couldn’t give me another full 5kg cylinder.

Warning, Warning, Warning, They took our USA cylinder, and 38 soles, gave it back 10 MN later. I took it and saw it was roughly the same weight, told them something wrong. They told me that they put 10kg propane, I connected the cylinder, and stated no propane at the kitchen and no pressure. I asked them to weight it having the tare at 11.5kg. 15 MN later, they gave me back the money and the empty cylinder with no comments. So take care........

Unfortunately unable to refill our style propane bottle. It was purchased in Colombia and utilized the same fitting as our US camp appliances however Peru uses a different fitting that will require us to make some fitting changes on our stove.
