United States
By a reservoir. Official state campground. Has a boat ramp and day use and camping.
We parked under trees up by the north side of the lake. $8 only pit toilets. Quiet and nice. We just parked overnight. Verizon 4G, AT&T no signal.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As described. But the sand is thick in some of the areas. Tons of flies right now and the toxic algae bloom in the lake. We moved on.
Also, two of the toilets we checked were locked.
As described, nice spot close to highway but far enough to be peaceful. We choose a spot near the lake and a cottonwood. The bathroom near us was closed for the season but we have our own toilet so it didn't matter too much for us. There were fee envelopes and the price is still $8.00.
Report Check-InNice place with pretty view, seems not used often (no more fee enveloppes available in the box...)as the reservoir is almost dry. Quiet, fire pits, tables and pit toilets.
Report Check-InDeserted. One of four pit toilets unlocked up by the permanent tents. Whether that is a mistake or by design I do not know. Bring your own toilet paper.
Report Check-InOk Verizon/Visible service. Not full bars, but data has been high and ping normal, very usable for remote work. Sometimes it disconnects from band 13 and goes to band 66, and data gets a bit slower, but ping still good and connection still usable.
Access is easy, no marked spots but you can see some fire rings. It's $8 a night. We are getting some pretty gnarly wind gusts, but may not be like this all the time.
See attached pictures for service.
Report Check-InDispersed camping, $8/night. pit toilet locked for season, no signage warning of such.
