FREE spot, step from the beach! it is at the end of the sand road going to the hotel Villa Bahia. The owner said it is a public spot and fine to camp. The beach is beautiful and calm. We saw sea lions and dolphins!
Calm area with vacation houses along the beach, so it feels safe. Be aware of coyote and dogs if you have a pet.

Tried to stop here but homeowners with a gate said this was not allowable and was private property. Not sure if this was true but didn't want to stay where we weren't welcome.
