Parked here to have breakfast, but at 9/10 AM a lot of massages and other business set their camp on the beach, so we left. Asume would be good for a night. No surf

Estacionamos acá para desayunar, pero a las 9/10 am vinieron masajistas y otros negocios a instalar sus toldos en la playa asique nos fuimos. Seguramente para dormir a la noche estaría muy bien. No surf

Nice spot next to the beach. Lots of traffic until a little after dark on a Sunday night then quieter. Police drove by, but had no issues with us being there. Walking distance to the Marina area for food or groceries.

There’s lots of places along the little road to pull over and spend the night right beside the ocean that will lull you to sleep. There’s many garbage cans along the road and many good trees to hang your hammock in. We camped close to Coco Loco restaurant which appears to be closed and under renovation at the moment. The police drove by many times per day and a few times after dark and did not bother us. Cell signal is weak where we parked but if you walk up or down the road you will find a better signal somewhere. We were also able to connect to the wifi at Margaritaville restaurant from across the street ( on the sandy beach side)
If it wasn’t so cloudy then sunsets would be amazing. It rained a lot while we were here. It’s time to head to the Caribbean coast as recommended by a local.
This is a very very expensive town so bring your groceries with you. We found a frozen ribeye at the shop at the marina for $65USD. If you need anything Yeti there’s a great store also at the marina that has the biggest selection we have seen outside of Canada!
The CS Marine store has lots of cool stuff too including Victron components if that’s what’s powering your solar and you are in need of some parts. There are some really nice public bathrooms at the marina as well

perfect spot, very safe, you park in main road, some time other people spend the night here, beautifull beach, near restaurant

We parked down the road kind of behing the palms residence club, we felt safe. quiet night with local security guard walking up and down. Beautiful, clean beach and not too busy for the weekend.
During the day there are lots of free spots by the beach(heading towards the middle of the beach) no need to pay for parking.

Parked on the side of the road down from Margaritaville, quiet after sunset. Slept in SUV. Beautiful to wake up next to the ocean. No issues staying here for the night!

Arrived Sunday after sunset. Lots of people leaving by that time. It seems very busy on weekends. Stayed 300m south, towards the end of the road. Spent one quiet night. No problems.

playa bonita. aparcamiento justo delante de la playa, cerca de hoteles que parecen de lujo. solo pasamos una noche. la policía hace rondas y de vez en cuando pasan controlando. Hay botes de basura cada 50 metros. Por la noche nos salieron mapaches en búsqueda de restos de comida de la gente. Totalmente gratis

Really nice beach, not great for swimming with kids but there is a lot of shade so they played under the many trees. Quiet at night, we stayed in the middle of the beach and it felt safe with the local police passing few times. Bins everywhere which helps keeping this place clean. We found no open WIFI network

Chegamos para o entardecer, a praia é bonita e tranquila, pouco movimento e parece seguro, dormimos tranquilos por aí.

Beautiful beach and very swimmable, though be aware of currents.
You can park right next to it and sleep to the sound of waves.
Safer near the hotel (as told by locals) and you can also get their open wifi from there.

Great place to stay right on the beach. Busy in day but empty at night. Quiet and safe. Awesome beach. Angelinas restaurant has some amazing steaks!

Awesome spot, we parked our Campervan on the road next to the beach and stayed there for 2 nights. The Beach is beautiful and it’s really quiet and safe at night. We could even build a campfire right in front of our van. Coco Loco is a really good restaurant just two minutes away.

Lovely beach with families camped out for the day under the trees along the main road. Delicious restaurant Coco Loco. Not much noise during the night other than the loud waves crashing.

Rien à dire de plus, c'est un des meilleurs spots ioverlander du Costa Rica ! seul point négatif, les enfants ne peuvent se baigner seul, les vagues sont puissantes et se fraquacent sur le rivage surtout à marée haute.

This is one of the most beautiful and awesome beaches on Nicoya Peninsula. Beach is perfect pick for swimming, there is ton of places to hide in shade under the trees. There are some restaurants on both ends of the beach.

You can park in the Main street just in front of the beach. Beatiful beach, súper relax and quiet. No services and really safe //// estacionamos sobre la calle principal justo frente a la playa. Súper linda, tranquila, segura y relajarte! Sin servicios.
