Report Check-In

Quiet spot with nice views. The path is incredibly overgrown at the moment. You'll need a small car and not care about scratches in the paintwork.

You cannot make it to the second spot further up the road as some people suggested. We went in about 300m before getting stuck.

Report Check-In

We stayed a little farther up the road. Lots of pull outs all the way to Salmon Glacier. We saw several bears as we were driving but none when we camped. I'm sure they multiply in this area when the Salmon is here! Be careful. No facilities but there is a pit toilet at Fish Creek Observation Site and Salmon Glacier Overlook.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot. Stayed here with 3 other parties two nights. No problems. Very quiet :-)

Report Check-In

big gravel lot off tge road that you can get up to a secon tier and even a little more secluded. Nothing special, but fine after a night watching bears until dark.

Report Check-In

Gravel place with views of the mountains to the west. Good for the night after bear viewing.

Report Check-In

on the rhs of the road out of hyder towards the glacier. quiet, large flat area, no facilities but a good overnight stop if you don't want to freeze with the glacier view!

Report Check-In

Thank for this spot. Just to know before coming : bears are here between mid july to end of august. Sometimes not before 1 august.

Report Check-In

With a smaller car or camper you can go 425m further after the place to a very nice place with a spectacular view over the Salmonriver with wildlife spotting. Great!

Report Check-In

gravel pit, close to bear viewing platform, free.
