Wild campground near the road. Quiet, in the wood, with firepit spot

idk if someone has cleaned up since previous posts but when we arrived there were only a few beer cans and wet newspapers at the actual site itself. the rest of the trash is (unfortunately) in the ravine right off the edge of the site.
otherwise a great spot! nice views for sunset. some cats drove past throughout the night but we weren’t bothered and felt very safe.
Report Check-InSo much garbage. People has dumped sewage here. Spent the night but didn’t leave van. Lots of homeless/drug use in this area. Recommend travelling further on.
Report Check-InThis entire road felt unsafe and there was trash at every site and along the road. It looks like homeless people are living at several sites (and at trailhead). Several cars drive past while we were trying to find a site and almost all of the looked sketchy or questionable. We didn’t end up staying near Kerby and moved on to Crater Lake area instead.
