Description

Situated in the middle of the lava fields this campsite offers close proximity to both the lava (surrounded by) and the Higu Isgwit hot springs (about 10 miles away). This campsite is self registration for the sum of $20 a night. It offers forested individual areas with picnic table and fire pit in each. Nice area, hardly anyone here when we stayed.
Can’t be sure if potable water but there is a well hand pump ant pit toilets .
Be aware: We had been parked in a local parking area close by but was moved on by park official to this site. We hadn’t realised we were within the park !

Site was fine lots of availability, we just wanted to spend the night while we continued our road trip through the Nisga'a nation. Lots of mosquitos. There is a bunch of interesting stuff to see in the area so worth taking your route through here. $20 for the night.
