Description

Very nice hidden place. Sleeping place is so-so in the bushes, but 20-30m below is a lonely Beach on Lake Superior! Top sleep, daytime simply run down and grilling and swimming at the lake. Street you can hear from the roost, but not very loud. Attention, tree branches hang down, even with our 2.4m Toyo we had to bend away so they do not hang on the roof 2 branches.

not at all where it says but we found it

Report Check-In

A bit of a steep bank off the main highway to get down into the dirt road, the trail is not passable anymore, the road construction has dug a big trench in the middle of the trail for a drainage pipe. No way to pass over, 2m gap. Had to turn around and drive back out. Could camp on the trail in theory but there are better spots around on the lake

Report Check-In

New road made access almost impossible.
Nicer spots close by.

Funny way to go there between the trees :)
We can hear the traffic of the road but that’s not too noisy.
Just next to the Lake Superior for an amazing view!

Our Toyota (2.8m) came through without problems. It's nice to hang out at the beach.

a place in the wood , just near the transcanadian highway. you take a small path at you see a small road that leads to a "parking place".

Report Check-In

Nice spot in the middle of the forest, not far from the lake. There is space for two smaller vehicles. If you're coming from the south, drive by the point on the highway for about 200m and look for a gravel road turning hard left. Watch for the branches when driving in!
