This rest area is 11 miles south of Taos New Mexico. It’s rustic & the entrance is a bit obscure. Several shade covers over picnic tables. Highway 68 is close but didn’t notice much traffic noise at night. A good quick overnight spot. Good Verizon 4G LTE

Rest stop that is more a “pull out” by roadside. Didn’t see tables! On the right side when going north toward Taos. Not level.
Report Check-InGravel lot off hwy 68 designated as rest area. Quiet enough. Sleep til 8am. Nice views of Taos and mountains. Nobody else here on the weekend. Stayed 1 night passing through after trying to locate BLM plot further back seemed sketchy AF. High speed polic chase passed by around 10pm. Some hey noise. Nothing terrible. No restroom at facilities of any sort
