Our first iOverlander experience was great! Parked our 2 motorcycles next to our tent and what a nice place!! A local came by with his dog; very friendly.
Report Check-InIt's a spit at the confluence of St Mary's West River and St Mary's North river. There's enough room for 2 small vans, max 24 feet - but they'd have to dance around each other to get out. The access is gravel, not a problem in wet weather (it rained all night). The photo shows the access, looking out. We were here just before June 15th, when all fishing closes at 7 designated salmon ponds, including this one, which is Silver Pond, until the fall. Otherwise trout fishing is permitted. There's a great salmon history, etc, info centre just N of Sherbrooke. Worth a visit.
Report Check-InSmall place by the river and by the road. The police came to check on us around 10:00PM. He was just checking because there was a car parked in a private spot. Because he had not received any complaints, he told us we could stay and sleep there. It is a nice place but it is too close from the road for my taste.
Report Check-InVery nice little spot, we made it with our 23 feet camper. It's like we were alone in the world. Only few cars passed on the nice bridge just aside. We can see a camp on the other side of the river but seems not used anymore. We had a really good swim in the very warm river. The current of the river is very very tiny. This is a salmon river and it's closed for fishing due to fish rehabilitation.
Report Check-InAwesome spot for 2-3 small rigs / vans. There is a small gravel path after the wooden bridge which leads to this wonderful place (50m).
Super quiet and a fireplace. No services, take your trash with you!
