We parked our van on a loop to the left about a half mile past the trailhead. there is another car and camper at the other end.Lots of options when we arrived at 7:00 p.m. Heard cars is coming up much later and I don't know where they parked ...

Lovely spot came on a Sunday afternoon very quiet

busy with locals. many sites along the river and at the trail head. good turnaround at the end of the road. they just increased the parking area. pick up your dog poop and take it out.

2 miles before the trailhead there are a couple of nice spots

Same as other descriptions but couldn't find the pit toilets. Leveled spots, saw people with rigs. Road is not too bad with a couple of pot holes and not too steep. There's a parking lot with a lot of space at one of the trail heads a bit further. Nice shaded areas.

Gorgeous Pine Covered spaces right along the creek.

solid spot in the summer months for sure. came here in end of April and the road all the way back in was still snowmobile access only, a few spots before then though, easily accessed with a Tacoma and Subaru. awesome views and all around solid for two nights

Great site right next to creek. Traffic fairly quiet. Good road.

Great spot. Had to drive almost to the end of the road to find a spot though.

Nice place. Not very level.
Updated the coordinates. Hope they are correct now.

Beautiful streamside, level pullouts. Woke up surrounded by a herd of cows. They came down the hill to drink from the stream. (after looking at the nap, may have tried Teton Canyon to the north, just for a different view)

Incredible dispersed camping!!! So so many beautiful sites- many w stone fire rings. Only a few by river but you can access river to get water near trailhead or by other sites. Def do wind castle trail- quite an experience.

Report Check-In

Tons of spots all the way to the end of the road, most having fire pits. If you see a spot you’re not sold on, keep driving. Check out the Aspen and Wind Cave trails while you’re here.

Snow. Not snot’..........................................

Little snot this time of year. Could only go back so far. Verizon going one to two bars. Awesome spot!

Great spot for dispersed camping! Continue past first few pull out, pasted the marked spot on iOverlander and there are large flat pull outs for multiple vehicles. There were large RVs in these spots. The dirt road is well worn and easy to drive on.
We got there late (10:00pm) The first few pull outs were empty because they were not even and small. But if you continue on the dirt road there are lots of spots but they were all full because we got there too late. I recommend getting there earlier in the day when the sun is out.
