A bylaw officer came in the morning to tell us to leave. Apparently they’re enforcing the “fake” no camping sign. Beautiful place otherwise!
Report Check-Inthe place seems closed.
a flyer ask to book at the nearest camping
Good place to stay, but the city campground place a fake sign to avoid people staying there. dont’t worry about it.
Report Check-InReally nice space on the water. A little bit too rocky to get into the water. Just stopped for a break during the afternoon
Report Check-Ingreat spot so get a nights sleep right on the water. few other Overland people when we stayed but lots of space to have privacy. quite not alot of traffic decent swimming.
Report Check-InGreat little spot, we pulled out onto one of the small peninsulas and had a waterfront site. Nobody bothered us all night but a water truck pulled in around 6:45am and made a bunch of noise picking up a load of water - backup beeper for an insane amount of time and then a pump engine for close to a half hour. It is what it is. Slept great otherwise. Sadly didn’t really get to enjoy the water much as it was horribly windy and despite being the second day of summer….very cold.
Report Check-InWe took a nap here, nice view, lot of car comes and go but everyone was quiet and stayed in their car relax. Can be a lot windy careful.
Report Check-Inthis place was awesome..quiet..beautiful..went swimming..waterfront..fishing..stayed 2 nights will go again
Report Check-InVery beautiful stop. It is quite, but you do come across some locals, especially around sunset !
Report Check-InWhat you see is what you get. Very nice spot except for young locals who are running their modified véhiculs nearby on the early evening.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot! Lots a parking space. Few spots next to a small beach and clear water where you can swim. Pretty quiet even if there is a road next to it.
Report Check-InVery nice area to stop for a night, beautiful view and nice flat lot. launching area for boat.
Report Check-InGreat waterfront parking. Lots of space. Beautiful sunset. Quite a few cars watching to sunset but got quieter later.
Report Check-InAmazing spot for a night, there are two points either side of boat launch where you can park with your nose facing the water, and plenty more at the main parking. Really quiet at night, just the waves lapping the shore. Lots of stars at night and a great sunset that a lot of people park and watch. Thanks to submitter and make sure you're not at one of the no camping lots as previous comment mentioned.
Report Check-InRealy Good place to park an RV for the night by the Owen Sound Other RV parked and ramp for boats . It’s one of a few parking lots . Be careful others are no amping .
Report Check-InLovely little beach in the third lot from Owen Sound. Stayed here four nights while I day tripped up the Bruce Peninsula. Saw no police presence. Locals came to swim or exercise their dogs, no problems.
Report Check-InGood spot to stay for the night. A lot of cars and VR are staying here but its a very quiet place.
Report Check-InThis is on the east side of Owen Sound bay. Not Lake Huron. Often visited by police at night.
Report Check-InSuperbe waterfront on Huron lake to stay. We were alone this night, pretty quiet. Beautiful sunset!
