Came late. No other campers there, just some cars came in and out. It was super windy in the night (extreme!). Stayed longer than 8 hours. No problems. I would stay here again. Restrooms, trash bins, picnic tables and service - perfect place for one night.

Beautiful spot for one night stay. No other vehicles and very flat. Sheriff pulled through in the morning and didn't even give us a look. Little bit of highway traffic noise.

Big parking lot with a view over the mountains. 8h max. Quiet during the night, but in the morning there was another car with loud music (on purpose?) at 6am.

Big, flat scenic overlook that allows 8 hours. It was windy and there was some light traffic noise, but it felt safe and was a good place to sleep for the night.

Beautiful spot. An hour after I arrived, a cop stopped by to "make sure I wasn't broken down". I pointed out the sign that said travelers are allowed to stay for 8 hours. He reluctantly admitted that was "Technically allowed".

Great spot, with a beautiful view of the valley below. Excellent verizon cell service. Just be aware of overzealous law enforcement.

Decent spot in a pinch. Lots of teens come up here and smoke around sunset. Besides that no complaints. Was other campers there as well. Not really any privacy so bring window shades

Place as described. Nice view, quiet at night. A sign says that you are allowed to park for 8h - we stay overnight, no one bothered us.

Resting area / viewing point. Very nice views. Parking space just next to the 299. Very level and a lot of space. There was another camper sleeping here already. Very quiet at night. Good phone reception.
