Report Check-InSuch an awesome spot. Camped right next to the river. Stayed two nights and only saw one other camper come in late to leave early
Report Check-InAwesome sites with cell reception and creek access. Heads up that summer weekends are very crowded (Friday/Saturday nights). Both nights I patrolled at ~5pm and could not get a spot. For busy weekends I recommend driving a tiny bit further out of Stanley past the "designated camping" area, because the dispersed camping out there is not restricted so you are not confined to specific sites that can fill up. On Tuesday evening however I rolled up here at 8pm and still got a spot. :)
Report Check-InGreat spot, get here before evening though as most spots get grabbed. Perfect if you want to hike the sawtooth lake trail as it’s just down from the trailhead. 2 min to Stanley.
Report Check-InForest Service dispersed free camping - nice area with multiple sites. we showed up early evening and found several sites still available
Report Check-In9 sites a few creekside. Most are 10 day limit. Each has a iron fire ring with grate Wooded area allows for shade and plenty of hammock hanging trees. Verizon and AT&T both great signal here. camping higher up road equals no service.
Report Check-InMust keep in a designated site that has a number and a fire ring. Here on Memorial Day weekend and only 1 other camper here.
Report Check-Ingreat spot. a dirt road with a few pull outs each spot has a fire ring and was clean. stayed for a night it was quiet and nice. we had some cell service att and sprint.
Report Check-InI didn’t stay here because it was full but seems really nice. Lots of people setting up camp and leaving for the day. Service seems good on ATT and nice shaded areas. Sites a little close together
