We were here during the Roundup Festival, when all merely camp spots in the park were full. In order to obtain a camp spot you need to call 1-800-710-2267 or go to campsd.com
This campground has 23 spots and about 10 cabins. There is a host on the ground, however, to get a spot you must call the number or reserve and pay online. We paid 26.50 per night.
Cell coverage one to two bars.
All spots are in the forest, cannot see the lake.

Reservable through S Dakota State Park Reservation system. Pretty little shady campground close to Stockade Lake. Some sites with electric, some primitive. one area is "tents only". Restrooms are nice with showers. Camp Host on site. No dump station.
Report Check-InNice quite campground. One of the smaller campgrounds in Custer State Park. They have electric sites, cabins, and a few tent only sites. No lake views but it feels more out of the way than it is.
