FREE camping in the town park. Water and toilets were locked. Playground nearby which is great for the little kids. Plenty of neighborhood kids playing throughout the day. Quiet at night. Good shade. Dumpster for trash. 2 bars ATT.
Report Check-InA quiet night at this sweet park with giant "FREE CAMPING" signs at the entrance. There are two spots with a shelter and picnic tables, possibly 15amp electric at the shelters with I didn't test them, and a dumpster. Looks like there's water but it's locked.
There are also a couple of playgrounds, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball (no nets).
If the two spots are taken there is a parking lot.
Church bells ring at 6am.
Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint/T Mobile were are okay, not super speedy, but workable.
