Just as described, it looks like a good overnight place to park. Sleuthing in order here.

As the State Park was full on the weekend we moved to this parking lot at the airport - which is very quiet at night, windprotected, clean gravel to park on and as the airport is closed on the weekend we could even sleep in on Sunday Free on the weekend, Parking is $5/night under the week.
