Good spot, gravel road is has only some small bumps, so no problem.
I highly recommend the north atlantic aviation museum in town, to learn a bit about the town‘s and airports history. Airport was very important for a few historic happenings. 8$ for adults, open every day.
Report Check-InGreat place to boondock for night. Beautiful view of Lake Gander. Some traffic people walking their dogs but was quiet at night…follow signs to Silent Witness memorial off of TCH .
Report Check-InSeveral locals came before darkness with their dogs. Very quiet after sunset. Picnic tables and garbage bin. Beach with rocks but water is good.

Report Check-InGreat place to boondock. Did not find a drinkable water source. Only found a small creek, would need a filtering system to filter the water. Talked to a local , he said the lake is the towns water reservoir. He drinks ot straight from the lake. We decided to find another water source.
