You can turn here and drive to the end for a much closer parking spot to the best part of the ruins. Or you can go to the upper main parking area and walk about an hour on the good trail through other ruins until you drop down into the most impressive Incan section - see photo for this part. Upper trail is definitely worth doing, in my opinion! But just fyi - if there are people who can't hike as far or are in a rush.

We came through here by walking and were aboe to enter WITHOUT paying :)) the boleto turistico (which is quite expensive). Give it a shot if you are broke and adventurous, we did not get caught but we never know!
