On top of a hill with a view all around, open and easy to get to. Steep in places but no 4x4 required. On the dirt access road take a right to get up. The left leads after 75m to a turnaround with a big overgrown cement slab in the middle, another good spot to camp closer to the highway.
Up on top you have to get used to the hum of the microwave tower generators, but not too bad. Beautiful with clear skies!

Attempted to get up the longer road to the tower in my 2WD promaster but ended up getting stuck 90% of the way there. I tried very hard to get the extra 10% because I really didn’t want to reverse the entire way back down the steep narrow winding road.. but ended up having to do just that, which took an hour! Ended up staying at the spot to the left closer to the highway.
Report Check-InNice spot, for 1-3 vans. No big rigs as the road is very bumpy. Took us 20-25 Minuten of very slow drivin with our highclearance 2wd. Stunning view, especially for aurora borealis gazing.
There‘s a engine running 24/7 in the towerhouse, but it’s not annoying at all.
