.....
Slept here a couple nights in the quiet streets near the university houses near the park. Most of these big houses have security so it feels safe and it’s generally pretty quiet around.

Free wifi - CESA INVITADOS and it’s actually quite good. Not sure where it comes from. You can leave the van here for the day. Very safe.

Place is nice and quiet, but at 3am we were awaken by 4 policemen. They mentioned that it's not allowed to park here and that it would be unsafe. Later on they tried to get money out of us by either threatening to detain us or the car. We forgot all our Spanish, played dumb and eventually they were too annoyed and gave up. Obviously we still had to leave and I wouldn't try my luck sleeping here again.

We slept here for two days and felt veeery safe. Never thought before that this is possible in Bogotá. So we can recommand this place 100%. Its very quiet at night. We left our van here when we visit the city and everything was okay when we came back. There are many friendly securities at the small houses, which looks like the netherlands :)
The watch man who walked around is a bit annoying with his louder voice, but only from 7a.m. and he try to help people to park their cars „vamos vamos vamos listo!“ for some money.

Street parking next to the park. We slept here for three nights and it felt safe. During the day there is a guy that watches the cars for a tip, so we left the camper here and walked to the colonial area and the museums. There is an open wi-fi from one of the university institutions. There are public restrooms near the sports field but they close at night. We couldn't find a water source.

Very quiet street. We parked in front of the "casa santander". There is 24h guards in front of the two houses, we felt very safe. You can tell this neighbourhood is very top society of Bogota. The wifi works great. The night was very quiet. We left the car their for the day. We asked security guy if it was ok and he say YES. Free parking 30 minutes walk to downtown (3.5 km). Going to downtown you cross only safe neighbourhood. Their is also plenty of secure parking on the way and one was 9000COP 12hrs but it might be for student only.
