Was on way to campground but didn’t wanna drive another 3 miles so found some great spots with established fire rings right after entering national forest sign and instead of going around reservoir

great little cubby of space for a night. some brush for privacy. road traffic early morning 🌄. and Flys are a thang lol its nature though. no t-mobile signal. rock fire ring. 🔥 enough space for a small trailer.
Report Check-In14 mi off highway, 1st half graded, 2nd half is washboard. Multiple sites with fire rings in cow pastures. Some can be buggy. Some sites near lake filled with waterfowl. Very quiet, beautiful views. Visited in AM by local ground squirrels and several curious cows and calves.
Report Check-InPlenty of firewood to be gathered off the ground, established fire pit, plenty of room to camp at each pullout. Hiked up the hill on the left about a mile and got cell service. Overall a great place to camp for a night
Report Check-Inseveral pull-outs with fire rings along the dirt road. we chose a spot next to the creek. easily accessible from the south in 2wd w/ 18ft trailer. some spots might get slick with enough rain. no cell service on Verizon or Google fi w/ LTE booster.
