They’re closed on Wednesdays. We just picked a place in the parking lot and stayed two nights until they opened again. Cool museum.

We've stayed here four times, perfect 1-days drive from our home. Don't miss the museum, dog friendly too! Great walking paths to stretch your legs

Report Check-In

The are two parking lots - one on the west side that will hold a dozen big rigs and the expansive east side that could easily accommodate a couple hundred avg RVs. Two dump stations are available with non potable water. There are numerous water spigots scattered across the grass islands, but each is labeled in bright yellow as non-potable. Likely a recent change because even the dump station sign says to use those instead. Road noise from the highway is moderate but not unbearable. A safe spot and many others on a weekend night we were there.

It's a nice museum, some realy old RV's. The parking lot is huge, and a good place for a overnight stop. You can hear the near Hwy, but it was not a problem for us.

Report Check-In

As described. The dump stations are closed in winter.

Huge lot. We called and they said to park RVs on West parking lot first. several others around, both West and East lots. 2 dumps available in East parking lot.

Great spot to spend the night! The parking lot is huge and there’s plenty of space :) Close to the highway but didn’t hear traffic while sleeping. I felt very safe here :)

Wonderful spot. Check out the museum - amazing and superb collection of vintage rvs and motorhomes. There's even a prototype of a $2.5M monstor rv!

Report Check-In

Great spot for a good night sleep. A number of other vehicles were in the lot when we arrived. Only noise was the low hum of the highway and the birds in the morning.

Report Check-In

Very cute little spot! No issues parked here overnight, the no bathroom kind of sucked, but more than understandable! A fair amount of highway noise but overall slept well and left in the am.

Report Check-In

Best free parking lot I have ever stayed at! Highway noise is minimal and great big green spaces for the dog. A few folks spending the night, all quiet. Would stay again and maybe check out the museum.

Nice parking lot with plenty of spaces. Walking trails around the museum and a nice lake with a fountain. Lots of Highway noise but otherwise quiet. No amenities but FREE!

Free parking and overnight , no service , quiet and safe
Just from the interstate

Great stop for a night on our way east! Not lots of free parking around. We called earlier in the day to make sure, and they said they’re a harvest host and are happy to have folks stay in the lot on the west side of the building. When we arrived just before 9, there were plenty of other vehicles and lowkey inhabitants. Beautiful sunset, highway noise in the background, and extremely kind hosts and guests. Must be self contained. Left early for a long drive. We wish we could’ve stayed to support the museum!!

Really quiet and super enjoyable for us and our four pointers. They had a large parking lot as well as a large field for us and the dogs to run. just make sure you pick up after them and leave the place better than when you found it. Enjoy it. Verizon 4G LTE 4 bars.

We called to make sure it was okay to camped in the parking lot. They said to stay in the west side parking lot.
It was a little loud so close to the interstate but after a long day of being on the road - we drifted off to sleep and woke up and enjoyed the museum!!
