Several campsites located along road leading to Russell Brook Falls. At least 2 (maybe more, but we didn't go down to check) pull offs with next to a campsite with fire ring and privy. Camping only permitted at designated sites. Enough space for a vehicle at each, so probably best for self-contained setups.
Quiet night amongst the rain and changing leaves.
No cell service (at least on verizon). Note that road is marked as seasonally maintained, so unlikely to be accessible during winter.

Very steep drive in from bottom end but we did it in a 23' RV so no problem. The road down to the falls is posted as Not Maintained in winter there were three pull offs available. we chose the second one with a fire pit. Perfect stop. Only ones there and no cars all night. In heavy rain I wouldn't do it in an RV but otherwise it is lovely.
Report Check-InThese spots are free, and normally great. For some reason we had an extremely scary encounter with a third party who had apparently snuck so close to us in the dark that he was able to start walking at us out of the blue from 15 feet away. We darted for the car, left our stuff, slept in a hotel, returned the next morning. None of our stuff was touched, yet also none of the hot dogs or hot dog buns were touched either. Be careful if there is no one else camping nearby, on an off-night like a Sunday.
Report Check-InStayed here for one night in a fully contained truck camper. Stayed in the first pull off on the right hand side. Fire ring on site but it was slightly downhill and flooded. No signs present to restrict camping in this spot but some further down the way. Nice spot with access to waterfall hike/walk after the sign. See photo.
Report Check-InOnly about 3 sites here, no more than a vehicle at each. Lots of aggressive mice here so don't leave any doors, windows, etc. open. They even climbed on top of our roof top tent and I could hear them scurrying around on it at night. In a pinch a self-contained vehicle could park on the north end of Morton Hill Rd where there is a clearing.
Report Check-InFantastic spot! Easy to get to. We overnighted for two nights at the bottom where the trails start as the three spots on the road we’re taken. Had no problems. Great hiking trails, one to a waterfall and one to a lake.
Report Check-InOnly a few camping spots that were filled on a Monday evening by 7pm. However we parked in a parking area at a trail head with no problem. Very quiet place. Checked in on their registration
