Minkalab is a combination of an organic farm, nature reserve, and community meeting space. We have private rooms and space for camping with all that you need. We also host a variety of workshops each month and serve as a regional point of encounter for environmental awareness, art, traditional ritual, holistic medicine, birding, hiking and more.
We are very close to many points of interest including two hot springs, waterfalls, the snow-capped peak of Santa Isabel, laguna Otun and the towns/cities Pereira, Manizales, Salento, Filandia, and Armenia.
We have organic products for sale such as coffee, medicinal oils, and honey among others. We also offer tours of the coffee farm, bird watching, bio-construction, and organic agriculture.
With your visit fees, we finance the agro-ecological project Minkalab and our natural reserve.

The owners Gabriel and Katharina are super nice people. The have a huge garden were they grow a lot of organic products. With some bio construction buildings, all the buildings are made with so much love. it's amazing. You even can buy some of their coffee or honey and different other products.
At the moment they have a house for air bnb. But they built at the moment a parking. I think then it is even possible for Overlanders to sleep there.
