Description

We know we keep saying this but wow... THIS spot is epic!

A lay-by over looking the Dingle Peninsula. We stayed here one night and if we could, we would stay here longer. There is also a great small hike that starts 2 mins from this spot - to the top of Eagle Mount. Here you will get even more spectacular views of the sea/cliffs and meet some pretty docile sheep that love getting their portraits taken!

Note that during the day, this spot gets busy with tour buses stopping to let people take pictures but it’s quiet between 6pm and 10am.

If you get a chance, there is a lovely woman called Becks with her dog Toby, who set up shop from her van in this lay-by from 10am. Becks has previously lived in a van for 16 years and travelled all over Europe.

Note: Very poor/no cellular service here!

flat parking, gorgeous views over ocean and green grassy land with cows. Missed the sunset, but the sunrise was also beautiful.
