This is a large well used car park on the sea front. Good for an overnight stop. Not bothered by anyone, a bit of noise from local lads later in the evening but it was the weekend.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Big car park, the sea front path is nice but you are next to a large highway with pretty constant traffic. There are toilets (3TL) but they weren’t open in the morning before we left at 9am.
Now costs 120TL overnight for a smallish camper van.
noisy but convenient central. The water front is freshly renovated and nice to walk or cycle.
Report Check-Inthe parking lot is not free anymore, and the dont allow truck to stay, they didnt let us in with our 15 ton
Report Check-InThe town of Trabzon is difficult to drive around and the parking spots within the town are also very scarce and sought after. This spot is the best place to wild camp, although you can hear the traffic if your van is not well insulated. Perfect spot for visiting Travzon prior to travelling on to Sumela Monastery some 40kms inland. Car park very cheap and very flat. No facilites.
