Go down the road approximately one mile until the beginning of forest then turn left and follow road along the forest. you will come to a turn around with fire pit. Verizon LTE good reception here. Quiet with no noise. Sign posted at entrance warns of Prairie Dogs AND their fleas have plague. DO NOT PET PRAIRIE DOGS! We had 4 bars of 4G ATT but could not make a call. Date service was fine.

Great, quiet spot. A steady stream of cars with headlights off started driving by at 5am. We figured probably hunters. We left at 7:30am.
Report Check-InJuniper trees about 20 feet tall. Nice little patch of them. Ground is pretty textured but it was easy to get level. Would be a good spot for a hammock
Report Check-InStayed here for a night. Cloud cover made it more bearable, hot in summer. A juniper-pine forest. Simple, silent. Plenty space.
Report Check-InStayed here for two nights. There are plenty of spots. If you continue driving past this particular location there are even more sites to chose from. We were all alone, even during 4th of July weekend.
Report Check-InThere are several campsites available at this location. The road has been graded recently and extremely dusty. Otherwise the spot was as advertised. By the way, the cows came for a visit.
Report Check-InMissed the turn that went directly through the field and decided to go around the back of the field which was a mistake. Road was very narrow and rough and would be treacherous for vehicles without 4WD. Eventually we found the patch of trees with a nice fire pit. There are plenty of cows around so watch out for patties. A few people drove by early in the night but after that it was nice and peaceful. Phone service was a plus too.
