Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here during the eclipse. Bunch of rvs/ people camping out. There was someone either shooting up or high off their mind outside of the Walmart late at night but other than that really quiet. Just be safe and you’ll be fine!

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

Park in front of Garden Center area. there were 3 other rv/vans and two transport trucks. Yep, it looks sketchy on the other side of parking lot. Wasn't nervous, because there were others here. However, there is an airport close by.....sometimes it sounded like fighter jets were flying very low..lol.

Report Check-In

All the lot signs now say no overnight parking (including Lot A). We went inside anyway to ask, and the worker at the customer services counter said we could stay at the far left or far right sides only (i.e. lot A or lot D) for one or two nights, and to be sure to lock our doors. We stayed in lot D with no trouble. There were maybe 4 other RVs that stayed the night, half in lot D and half in lot A. No issues with sketchy people, it was actually a pretty quiet night.

Report Check-In

Dirty lot with some dodgy people . A bit depressing to say the least. Two bar Verizon.

Report Check-In

Like others said. Noisy kids/eployees after they got off work around 10. Smoking dope and yelling. Walmart had a few long term campers towed while we were there. They said one night only. Stay as far away from entrance as possible near Home Depot end of A lot.

Report Check-In

Great! There’s a sign for lot A that actually says “employees and overnight parking.” Quiet. Safe. Several other cars, RVs, etc parked and settled in for the night. I’d surely park here again for the night.

Report Check-In

Would not recommend staying here. Extremely loud and unfortunately has brought crowds of drug users and over all sketchy individuals. Plenty of great spots to O/N aside from this Walmart.

Report Check-In

We were around 6-8 vr’s, 2 truckers and around 40 cars. Lots of noise from a diesel pickup. Lots of garbages everywhere. But we could stay overnight.

Report Check-In

As described in other reviews. Well over a dozen RVs, SUVs, camper vans, etc. Signs for parking lot A specifically said no overnight parking but it was clearly not enforced.

Report Check-In

Quiet and decently lit. Posted parking allowed in Lot A. Multiple vans/rvs tonight.

Report Check-In

This seems the better spot to stay vs Planet Fitness if you're in this area.

Report Check-In

Alright for a night, saw other overnighters and felt fine

Report Check-In

My husband and I stayed the night here on Friday night. We rolled in at about 10:30pm. There is a tree line at the back of the lot which was where we parked- close to two other RVs and one other car camper like us. The Walmart closed at 11pm. The lot is well lit for safety but quiet overnight and felt safe.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night without asking permission and was fine. Parked in lot labeled for employees/overnight parking (to right if you’re looking at store). It’s nice that there is green space around the lot to back up next to. Lots of other folks stayed overnight too—vans, cars, truckers, RVs, etc. Although there are some vehicles that appear to be staying/sleeping here long-term, we felt safe and it wasn’t too loud or busy. I’d stay again.

Report Check-In

Looks like a homeless camp, too sketchy for us. Moving on.

Report Check-In

They seem to want overnighters to park in the white-lined spaces at the back of the employee "lot A" at the NW store corner (furthest to the right when looking at the store). Very noisy - not from traffic, but from the other people in the lot. Lots of RVs here as well as people sleeping in cars/SUVs/vans/semis. Sadly, it was the kind of situation that leads to Walmart banning overnight parking, with people loitering and playing loud music, trash strewn everywhere, a trailer surrounded by used tires that looked like it hadn't moved in a long time. It felt pretty safe, however - the police rolled by often, seemingly just keeping an eye on things, didn't say anything to us. Worked for an overnight, but it wasn't a very good night of sleep, even for those of us used to parking lot noises.

Report Check-In

Really nice, quiet Walmart parking lot that allows overnight stays. We stayed here 1 nights and loved it. There is a specific parking area for overnight next to the back garden section. The Walmart is not 24 hrs and no fresh produce but there is a nice Hannaford's nearby for that stuff. Wifi and washrooms in the Walmart.

Report Check-In

Walmart parking lot. At least 7-8 other van/ car dwellers here for the evening. Pretty quiet and felt safe. No one bothered us. I pulled in at 10:00p.m stayed until9:00 a.m

Report Check-In

Stayed a few nights. As Walmart parking lots go, this one was pretty nice; no road noise and lots of greenery around the edges.

Report Check-In

Several RVs and vans parked along the right edge of the parking lots, if you are facing the store. It was a quiet
night.

Report Check-In

some no overnight signs in certain areas of parking lot. we parked where there was no sign preventing it between home depot and Walmart on the garden store side. 4 other vans here too. no one disturbed us. 4 bars Verizon. walmart open until 10pm.

Report Check-In

Some sections of the lot say no overnight parking but the end section over near Home Depot says overnight parking for employees. Stayed here 2 nights without issue. Couple of big rigs parked over here also.
On the other side of the lot in the back I saw a couple vans and RVs in a section that said no overnight parking but doesn’t look like they were bothered either. Easy spot to stay the night 👍🏻.

Report Check-In

Many vans, just a Walmart. Standard. Fine.

Report Check-In

It’s okay here since there’s not too many legit places to stay for free in Vermont. The parking lot was quiet at night. We parked our van in a spot with white lines in the D parking lot but it slopes and was not level.

Report Check-In

Quiet place must of the night. There were 10 rv in the parking lot. We were disturbed in the middle of the night by a mechanical street cleaner who circulated for more than 10 min in the parking lot. He was not cleaning he was just making loud noise and light for fun. I assume that it is not every night. After he left we had a good sleep. I had WiFi with the Home Depot.
