Something not right?

Description

Hwy 101 slightly north of Standish-Hickey State Park on the west side. A row of bushes separate the area somewhat from the highway and it's fairly quiet at night. It's a pull through so you want to make sure you are well away from either entrance so an unsuspecting vehicle doesn't come barreling in and not see you until the last second. No "no overnight" signs.

Latest Check-Ins

We arrived around 5pm in our 35ft TT and set up for the night. This was a great spot, very quiet from 11-530am and as mentioned the highway alarm clock, left at 830. We were joined by a fellow traveller who felt safer in numbers, welcomed her in this spot also! The stars were so bright without light pollution in this location.

Report Check-In

Arrived at 10pm and left at 10am. Nobody pulled through as far as we could tell. The 101 traffic in the morning is like an alarm clock. Wooo woooooo!

Report Check-In

Got here late, nobody else was here. Maybe enough bush coverage for a car. Lots of traffic, quiets down about 11-6. Good spot for 1 night

Report Check-In

As described! Bushes provide protection and seclusion from the highway. Had med-strong signal from ATT.

Report Check-In

Exactly as described. This place is just a turnout along this busy road, but with very few choices we are going to give it a shot. Fingers crossed! No Verizon signal. Some small areas to walk your dog but mostly overgrown.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay for one night !! We got our table and folding chairs out and have a dinner, no one else came to this spot during the night, got here at 7 pm left around 10 am

Report Check-In

Arrived after dark, and thought we were more out of sight than we realized in the morning. The hedge will hide a single car but it’s not huge. Not super level, and loud next to the road but we were tired. Moved on to somewhere else to make breakfast.

Report Check-In

no shade, no internet, could be worse.
Going to keep driving.

Report Check-In

Just as described. Didn’t stay as it was too early but Checked it out for future reference and it’d work for a small vehicle only. Btw, place across the road has GREAT burgers!

Report Check-In

Only one there. Not to noisy. Parked at 9 pm was gone by 8 am. No issues
