Description

Overnight RV camping available in one of the large Sun peaks parking areas. $25 nightly fee. Great access to the lifts for mountain biking and a 5-10 minute walk to the village. It rained the day we arrived and the parking lot was very muddy, be sure not to track mud into your rig :)

Great parking lot with access to a nice washroom (although a 2 minute walk). $15 Canadian dollars for a Wednesday night. We booked it on the ski resort web site. Easy access to a lift so you can keep your rig parked.

Perfect! Down in The Valley, it’s 35° Celsius, up here 21°!
Found this place by accident, really convenient. Easy check-in, place is nice as described. Love it!

Nice place to stay! The rv camping area is defined, separate from day parking, and is located at P2 now. Each spot has a picnic table and garbage/recycle nearby. There is also a sani-dump and potable water fill by the washrooms for campers. $25 a night purchased online or at Guest Services when they are open. Free wifi at Village Day lodge, where Guests Services is located.

Tons of places in there parking lot. Stayed two night. Potable water available. No hookups. Plenty of space for any sized rig.

Great place to stay if you're riding the bike park for a few days. $25 for a piece of dirt and a picnic table is a bit steep, but the location can't be beat.

Was very quiet at night. 5 minute walk to several options for food.

Booked the site in the parking lot on the Sun Peaks website. Super easy. Pick your own spot. Plenty of space even on a weekend, so seems likely you can just show up and not get shut out.

Did not see any electricity options though.

Bike park is top notch as well. I will be back.

Just confirming that they do indeed allow you to sleep overnight here in the winter. The coordinates take you straight to guest services but if you get here after everything is closed like we did, you will need to keep going up the main road and look for signs for P5 in what is called the East Village. At the entrance to this lot there are instructions and a QR code so you can pay. The price is currently $15 which is a deal to be able to park right at the area.

As described previously, just confirming that it’s still open. Full cell service on Telus. So great to see a progressive resort that is willing to accommodate camping rigs - a rarity these days. Show them some love in return.
