Nice couple of pull outs with fire rings. Quiet but not too far off 89. Cattle in the distance. Good T-Mobile data signal. Good size I have truck and camper. Could fit another if needed.

Perfectly wonderful place to spend the night. There are many choices off the somewhat rutted road. To be safe, I chose the 1st one I saw a quarter of a mile in from the road, but a 1/2 mile beyond that is much larger space very level, backing onto a nearly dried up pond, shaded by pine trees. Good birdwatching there. Three bars of five G service on T-mobile. Road noise goes the distance but stops at night. Five stars for this wild camping spot.
Report Check-Insome longer-term campers are next to the highway. The first circle to the left and spot at the end were already taken but we found another flat spot. Territorial views.
Report Check-InNice large level place with gravel and loop. Suitable for anything, any size. Great T-mobile reception. Nice view. Fire pit. Plenty of room between site. We stopped after dark, so we stayed at the first location to the right. Could here the highway some, but not obnoxious and not much traffic. I love it silent, but this didn't bother me. Nice place for overnight or longer.
Report Check-InDecided to stay at the first large spot because the road beyond is quite unlevel. Quiet enough in my Sprinter, earplugs a good idea otherwise!
Report Check-Ingood cell signal and far enough from the road to not see/hear it. great views and level ground. The access road is easy and any vehicle can go on it. there's a fire pit
Report Check-InThere is a large spot with a fire ring on the right very close to the road. This site is nice but loud due to road noise. If you continue further, maybe .5 miles, there's another much better large site on the left with a fire ring. This site is much quieter so we stayed 2 nights and loved it here. We hiked all over and it's a beautiful calm place. We had excellent Verizon service here.
