Description

Beautiful campsite in a great location to explore Cholula and Puebla. This is an established campground with water, electric, and dumps at each site with nice grassy areas. $250 pesos per night cash only. This is located in an apartment complex with several buildings with residents all around so people are constantly coming and going. With that said, it's still quiet. It's gated with a 24 hour attendant to let you in and out as you need. Great showers with hot water, and beautiful renovated bathrooms with toilets. There is a pool which is lovely, although it was drained in our most recent stay (due to COVID-19). We've stayed twice here and loved it both times. There are 2 dogs on site, one which ate a hole in our outdoor mat, so don't leave things outside!

Latest Check-Ins

As described before, safe, quiet and clean place. Walking distance to Cholula center where we can recommend Restaurant Calabria. Still 250Peso per night.

Report Check-In

I checked into this place after leaving San Miguel de Allende, 250 pesos per night. I was the only one here. Too cold to swim in the pools but everything looked clean and wonderful. Definitely park closer to the center of the park as Wi-Fi wouldn’t reach my parking spot. Would highly recommend.

Report Check-In

This park is convenient for visiting Cholula and Puebla. For Cholula main plaza and pyramid the kombucha/collectivo picks up in front of the San Diego shopping plaza nearby. The park is pleasant with great shade. Toilets by the pool

are fine though no water in taps and showers by main gate are kind of grubby but good pressure and hot. It is too bad the maintenance is so poor — dog poop everywhere, overflowing garbage in toilets, pool is dirty etc. Could be so much more but as the only game in town, good for a few days on the way to or from Oaxaca.

Hello

The train take 40 minutes and you're in the dowtown of Puebla.
Restroom clean, hot shower.
Quiet night.
Friendly crew.
Swimming pool.
I ask if I can wash my motorhome and they say "Yes you can"!
The dogs are friendly too.
You have guard all the time to the enter.
Wifi is correct.
And we pay 250 pesos for the motorhome and 5 persons.
What else?

Report Check-In

Lovely park. Easy to find and easy for us to maneuver in our 38ft MH. Looking forward to exploring the City!

Report Check-In

We stayed here two nights with our van. Nice big camping area with clean toilets and hot, clean showers. Gated property with 24 hr security.
A few friendly dogs on site which our little pup had fun playing with.

Nice easy walk into Cholula Centro and to the ruins/ pyramid nearby. 250 peso/night. We enjoyed our stay.

Report Check-In

Very nice place. Stable electric, decent water pressure without pump, sewer hookups, very accommodating staff. We realized we had a damaged tire upon arrival. The guard arranged for it to be taken off, repaired with a patch with pictures, returned and reinstalled for $10. The guard also arranged four a profane truck to come out the next morning to fill up a couple of our propane tanks for $10 each. Locked gate with guard 24 hours. Beautiful property, friendly campers with a couple full-time. Dog friendly, but no one picks up poop, so watch your step!😂
I would highly recommend!

Report Check-In

This place is excellent, fully walled and 24hr security guards. Everyone that works there obviously takes great pride in this place. They are very helpful and keep the grounds well maintained. One guard recommended a place for us to get our laundry done that was close by. We have two dogs and never had an issue with the dogs on-site. None of the dogs showed any type of aggression. If fact, they may be seen as too friendly as the husky was quite infatuated with our female border collie. Water, electrical, and sewage drain were all supplied and in working order. The bathrooms by the pool are kept very clean. The pool, though we did not use it was kept clean as well. We stayed 4 days. We did inquire about long term rates and were told by the owner that weekly is1500MX and 4500MX for a month. Daily is 250MX.

Report Check-In

For us this place has been great, we visited a few times from April through September 2019. The area is a large courtyard with some wealthy houses, Airbnb’s and an established camping area with power and water.

Toilets- their in good shape, just use the ones they tell you to use, the dirty ones aren’t owned by the company that does the camping.

DOG NEWS
We have a now 2 year old 25kg/55lb female dog and we return for her, she gets so much exercise with the dogs here.
On site dogs:
- <1 year male husky- owned by staff or campground -timid, playful and steals things to destroy them.
- >2 year male border collie- owned by a permanent resident -great with our dog but pee’s on things.
- >3 year Male Weimaraner- owned by campground -great with our dog, eats shoes and anything else left out.
- >5 year female mix- she is aggressive but maintained. She stayed by the guard gate and usually on a leash. We have not had a problem with her but we have never gotten close to her

Report Check-In

Good option if you don’t want to be in the center of town. The grounds are nice, with flat grassy areas to park. Facilities can be a little hit or miss, but not as bad as other comments have made it out to be. Bathrooms are clean, hot showers, good pressure, but you have to use the ones by the security guards. Dogs were friendly with us, some poop around, just watch your step. No gunshots, just normal Mexican mortars/fireworks. WiFi nonexistent. A little expensive for what it is, the camping feels like an afterthought, but we were expecting way worse. Stayed two nights, no issues. 30 minute walk to town was lovely.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights here. Quiet place. 2km from ´. Would not recommend. Some dumping stations are blocked. Showers so dirty you can't use them. three agressive dogs not on leash inthe camping.
Have been attacked twice. 250 pesos per night.

Report Check-In

Spacious parking. Pretty quiet for downtown parking. Modern Showers and toilets, but ask the guard to turn the hot water heater up.. they have 3 dogs but they are well behaved. Swimming pool with beds. Shade or sunshine. 2km to downtown..

Report Check-In

On Saturday night there were people partying in the pool area from 7 to 10 pm. Terrible music playing really loud. The day after they left rubbish everywhere.
I don’t think they should allow this to happen, really unprofessional.
The area in general is quite loud, noises coming from everywhere. There were also regular gunshot which we didn’t understand. One or more every 5 minute or so, maybe 1-2 km from the rv park.
At the entrance there is no sign that says it’s a campround and we did not manage to have internet as it doesn’t reach in some spots.
In general negative experience, however it looks safe, spacious and grass all over the place.

Report Check-In

Chouette camping avec piscine et douches chaudes. Bien sécurisé avec gardien et barrière. A proximité de la ville de Cholula (20 min à pied). 250 pesos/nuit. Nous sommes restés 6 nuits.

Report Check-In

Great camping spot. Very secure with gate and guard on site 24 hrs. Everything seemed well maintained. Nice pool area and decent bathroom facilities. The wifi worked good by the pool.

Report Check-In

Good base to explore.Cholula and Puebla. 30 minute collective to Puebla or 130 pesos taxi ride. Power and water wink on and off. Showers were cold when we we there. Lots of dog poop, but they will clean it up if you ask. 250 pesos with or without power. Storage 100 pesos per night if you want to get a hotel in Puebla for a couple nights. Many stores and restaurants in easy walking distance.

Report Check-In

not bad. everything worked well. internet couldn't reach us in the corner but we use a range extender (lifesaver in mexico). we stayed in a 32' travel trailer and got in pretty easy. we really enjoyed puebla/cholula so glad we visited. paid 1500 pesos for 7 days (6 paid plus one free).

Report Check-In

Good and remarkably quiet spot to visit Cholula. Walking distance from the archeological site (30 min) and groceries store (10 min). Lavanderia within 500m. They have two friendly guard dogs that our dog loved to play with. Easy to get to with our 21ft motorhome. Toilets and showers (lukewarm) clean. Water/electricity/sewer at all sites. Pool. Free (but not great) wifi. 250 pesos per night. Stayed two nights.

Report Check-In

250 MXN per night, the gate is always closed and is opened from the 24h Security. Very safe.
With water, electricity and dumping at site. Free wifi.

Report Check-In

lindo lugar... pero caro, 250 mxc por dos personas.
beauty placer... but expencive, 250 mxc 2 persons.

Report Check-In

It’s a really good campground.
The whole place is well maintained. Pool is clean. Restrooms are very modern and clean. Good showers.
On Saturday there was a group at the pool, talking loud, what can you say?

Report Check-In

Awesome spot to post up for a few days! Beautiful clean bathrooms, hot showers, nice pool, quiet at night for us! 20 min walk to the center of Cholula. FYI There is now a train that goes from Cholula into Puebla, 72pp (cost of card plus cost of journey), but not really worth the money. Super slow. An Uber would have been cheaper and faster!

Report Check-In

Nice pool, hot shower, toilet seats, no paper. well organized with guard.

Report Check-In

As described, but if you stay on a weekend make sure there is no party scheduled for the pool area. when we arrived, we noticed a DJ setting up. I asked the security guards how late the party was scheduled to go to and he said no later than 10PM. Well, it's now 1AM and they are still blasting music. When I say blasting, the bass is literally shaking our rig. I would not recommend this place, if a party is scheduled.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Fine campground. Good security. Quiet. Bathrooms look good though we did not use. Wifi OK with our 'booster', otherwise weak. Great location to visit Cholula and take bus to Puebla. 250 pesos per night with water, electric, sewer.

Report Check-In

Great place. 250 pesos per night. Hot showers, nice bathrooms, clean. Secure, quiet, easy colectivo busses to Cholula and Puebla. Many stores two blocks away. Good base for several days.

Report Check-In

Quiet, 250 a night , nice warm shower, they are instant heater so let them run full blast than when they get hot reduce the volume of water and they will go really hot. Internet not visible from our spot, did not bother to run around to find better spot.

Report Check-In

Okay place to stay. The surroundings of the campground do not look very nice, but the complex is guarded 24/7. New bathrooms (but no money left for toilet seat apparently) with showers, but just one for everyone. There was some event on Saturday with many kids with their parents coming to the school next door, so huge line to the toilets... Internet virtually non working.
So yeah, not so awesome but okay for the night. Not too many options in Cholula anyway.
price still 250

Report Check-In

It is in Cholula, which is a suburb of Puebla. Family run, pool, newly finished bathrooms. There are apartments on the same grounds. The electric is not great, but water is available

A safe place to overnight in the middle of a city. bathrooms and showers are just ok, there is a full-time security guard and gates, the swimming pool is sometimes operational and sometimes not. 250 pesos includes electricity, water and a WiFi hot spot.

We stayed for one night on July 2nd, 2017. It was an oasis in a busy area. Secured with a gate and a security guard. There is a nice pool and a room you can use that has a refrigerator. We had water and electricity at our site for $230 pesos. We were walking distance to the mall and other shopping.

Report Check-In

As described. GPS directs you to make a u-turn at the light however, better to make the weird left along the Oxxo and go down the street 3 blocks or so and look for the sign on the left. Very clean, secure and nice grounds. Facilities under renovation, but still very clean and nice.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice place, good location. Has hot water shower, water, electricity and dump. 690$ for three nights. Internet is slow and doesn't work all time.

Report Check-In

Not more as a grassy parking lot with toilets and showers. Friendly staff and 24h security. Some sites have water and electricity. We payed 250 pesos for one night.

Report Check-In

Big lots. Some areas to park with shade. Electric and water (non potable) at sites. Washrooms and mildly chilly showers. A small pool, broken but functional billiards table, and a rickety mirador. Paid MXN 220/night. Short walk to cholula centre and easy bus to Puebla (take the 14 from the oxxo down the street).

Report Check-In

We stayed 2 nights in the back lot. Wifi doesn't work there but the parking spaces are bigger. Water and sewer hook ups worked well at the site. (Better water pressure than we have seen at some other places). The electricity runs a bit on the high side (our surge protector shut us off about half of the time we were there). Showers are cold. The first night we heard a lot of dogs barking all night. We paid 250 pesos a night.

Report Check-In

Don't expect much, this is more or less a better parking spot. It is nonetheless a good base for trips to cholula & puebla, Bathrooms are a little run but but still ok. WiFi signal is weak (you will need an extender or need to walk into the garden).

Report Check-In

Two parking areas. We stayed in the treed area furthest from the Hotel. Had to dig thru the plants & trees to find elect. we're & sewer. The Guard assisted us. Did not use the sewer as it appeared to be full of debris from trees etc.
250 pesos/night. Quiet & secure.
Showers Luke warm only.

Report Check-In

Friendly owner, nice grassy fields all spots with full hook ups. Clean little pool, but very cold at this time of the year. Clean bathrooms. The internet wasn't working.

Report Check-In

Nice open grassy area, charged 150mx for two people for tent camping. Clean bathrooms. Very convenient, walking distance to the San Diego Mall (banks, food, clothing stores).

Report Check-In

Nice campground with grass and a lot of space. There is a pool and hot showers. Near the centro and the pyramid. 250 pesos/night, 1400 pesos/week.

Report Check-In

Clean, grassy park. A little hard to find as no signage. Nice family owned, clean bathrooms, hot showers, etc. walking to Bodegas, movies, restaurants, etc

Report Check-In

No usable wi-fi. Supposedly at least two different servers but couldn't access either.

Report Check-In

Forget it, DO NOT GO THERE, those MF are a bunch of
thieves, I stored my RV there for more than a year and they stole all the wiring from the battery to the generator, stole many parts from it. ONCE YOU LEAVE YOUR RV THEY WILL STOLE SOMETHING FROM IT.

Report Check-In

As described. 250 pesos per night. Good location, easy walk to Cholula centro or 5 peso colectivo to Puebla.

Report Check-In

I was here, a nice Place to visit the Pyramide and the historic Town of Puebla. Relatevely quiet.

Report Check-In

Nice campground. Conveniently located. We paid 230 Pesos for two people.

Report Check-In

Nice tent/car camping on grass for $120 pesos per night. Hot water from sink but warm showers in clean bathrooms close by. Laundry service down the street that I couldn't find. In the middle of a busy light commercial residential area. Quite noisy at night.

Report Check-In

Better than I expected it to be. Nice big space. Bathrooms fairly clean. warm shower. 250 pesos

Report Check-In

pulled in parked near office to get Wi-Fi. took them three networks before we found one that worked and it did work well. power was bad. COLD showers. place is not well maintained. someone was burning something by the pool and it stank of smoke all night. they did not tell us about the other side if campground. could be better; don't know. we were only ones here. Telcel good.

Report Check-In

250 MX per night for a site with electric and water (no dump station). We parked across the little bridge and backed up against the trees. Quiet at night. Bathrooms ok but odd. Each of the two bath rooms ("room" was about 12 x 12) had one toilet in the huge room and a sink. Also in the room are two shower bays, but only one worked. Showers tepid. They "fixed" the wifi, but it never worked. Huge grocery store a few blocks away (leave RV park going right and turn right at the corner. Follow road to the mall across the big street.

Report Check-In

Internet is so bad so I just consider there is none! And didn't take a shower.

Report Check-In

Place is great open space! Nice bathrooms and common area! Has a pool and punching bag too! He originally told us 250 and would only lower it to 220 for a night with 2 of us and our dog! Pricey but kinda the only place there and nice!

Report Check-In

Nice enough spot. Pricey at $210m. We couldn't connect to WiFi and the showers were COLD but staff were nice and the place was pretty clean. If we had had the energy, I'm sure we could have found a hotel cheaper.

Report Check-In

Can't say that it is nice. One night is plenty for us. Smell of dog poop everywhere and run down. 200p when I inquired which changed to 210p when I paid. Not much but it's sketchy. Showers are lukewarm. Wifi only at the apartment building on same lot. No common area open. Cars going in and out all day as the lot is access for other residential buildings.

Report Check-In

In a side street, currently not in maps.me but in Google. Nothing creepy. Friendly folks. $200 a night if you stay for more than one.

Report Check-In

Love it. Had mechanical problems and the owner is very helpful getting us assistance

Report Check-In

A little difficult to find as there is no sign out front and the gate is almost always locked. Nice tranquil park that looks like it once was great. Wifi in the building and hot showers with above pressure :) Take bus 14 into Puebla. $220pesos

Report Check-In

not much changed here in a year, 200 pesos/ rig/ night. Bodega Aurrera in walking distance.

Report Check-In

Convenient location, showed were lukewarm and toilets clean. Not sure on cost as we are about to leave and still found nobody to pay.

Report Check-In

200 peso's per night. Second time we stay here; pretty rundown but good location to visit Cholula's pretty downtown and pyramid.

Report Check-In

More like a parking lot, lots of traffic during the day. No wifi, decent showers.

Report Check-In

A scary trailer park in Cholula with crappy wifi. This place is just a little run down, but it’s nice to break up the drive if you are headed south from Mexico City down towards Oaxaca. Cholula is a charming city worth seeing.

Report Check-In

we would recommend you NOT stay here – PROS: electric and water hookups – CONS: free wifi never materialized, small dog in tiny cage the entire time we were there, large aggressive dog wandering the property, some sort of dance party in the parking lot next to us until 4am, someone reversed into our truck, filthy bathrooms, expensive for what you get – 220 pesos/night

Report Check-In

- 220 pesos
- wifi in lobby (doesn't reach the camp spots so well)
- hot showers
- everything looks a bit post-apocalyptic (like in every other mexican campground)

Report Check-In

Hot Shower (used room), toilets & Security. Shopping centre down the road approx 600m

Report Check-In

Creepily empty RV park. We were promised hot showers and wifi, but none materialized. One set of bathrooms were decently clean, the other was trashed, electricity was available, $15/night was way too much in our opinion so we only spent one night.

Price: $15/night

Report Check-In

Nice big area with grass for tent campers. There was a big indoor common area with power, chairs and tables. Wifi didn't reach the sites far from the buildings.

Report Check-In

Good place, near Puebla, electricity, water, dumping, bad wifi. Quiet at night. Collective bus to Pueblo peso 6 - / person. (Taxi 70 - Pesos) Peso Night 250 -

Cholula near Sam's Club and Bodega Aurrera, hard to find without GPS. When oxo turn into the cross street.

Report Check-In

Good base for day trips to Puebla. From the Oxxo take the blue bus with inscription "Route 14, Puebla" (6 pesos / person). For Mexican standards relatively well-kept place with ok bathrooms. No water in the pool. Electricity / water / waste water at site.

(Originally 250 pesos / day, but by action came the discount)
