Walmart parking lot | Informal Campsite

This location now closes at 11pm. I parked my SUV in a shaded spot under a tree on the garden center side of the lot from around 8pm - 2pm the next day without issue. Saw one van and some other cars that appeared to be staying overnight. Generally quiet spot.

Of all the places we have stayed for free in our first year with our motor home, this one is my favorite. Big Walmart parking lot, sunken down it of view. When we got there, there was another RV parked there with it's jacks down and slide-outs out. No one cares. No one bothers you. Also far enough away from the not-so-great parts of the big city.

Nice Walmart. parked on the west side by the garden section, not a single car in sight. sign for "no trucks" but no sign for no overnight camping. large area for dog to run off you have one

No one bothered. 24 hour Walmart and for the most part quiet through out the night .

walmart. seems RV/OP friendly
(didn't ask...arrived late)
there is a nearby train, and also, the parking lot has Walmart promotional announcements on and all night loop.

This walmart allows overnight camping. I’ve stayed there on several occasions and have never been bothered. There is a good security system all around the lot. I’ve seen everything from semis to car campers. Can get a little loud at night.
