A decent rest stop with outhouses sitting on the banks of the Willow River. There is enough space for a big rig. Please note that it is not normally plowed out in the winter.

on the place from the rest area is a sign that says "max. stay 8 hours" and no tents and no campfires. but before the parkingarea is a little way on the right where you can maybe stay. I didn't sleep here, and went to the site 2km south/West.
Report Check-InFantastic spot. We found a little pull off from the rest area (to the right, just before you reach the official area) It is good for 1 vehicle and has trails to a river pool. Really nice and quiet. It is a little climb down but once there it is easy access to the pool! Perfect for swimming!
Report Check-InThis is the Willow River rest stop, not 'Yellow River'. It has outhouses and is a nice spot for a picnic. Note - it is not normally plowed out in winter.
