There seem to be much better places, but I think it’s because of other guests people keep coming here.
Mattresses were changed during our stay, so nothing to complain about beds any more. :-)
BUT: very low water pressure, dark and damp rooms, bathrooms need urgent renovation, breakfast simple and boring, WiFi in the courtyard useless.
We payed 20€/double room with breakfast (maybe winter special) but later found many cheaper options with better infrastructure on booking. In winter no other guests that would make our stay worth the money. Must be different in summer when all overlander stay here to sweat together in the heat :-)
Owners are nice, location is perfect within the touristy area, but for us the stay here was a waste of money. :-(

Parked in front with big rig, quiet, in hostel very friendly an helpful; checked other places before - this is a very good choice!

Nice ‚South East Asian Backpacker Flair‘ but Rooms are run down and AC didn‘t work. Paid 24 USD for a Double Room incl. Bathroom through booking.com. Also met a few other Overlander here and had a good time. Location is as close as it can get to the main Tourist Sites. Everything else as stated.

Really good location. Nice place. Just horrible mattress! Can fit 4 bikes inside.

Very friendly owner. He speaks good englisch .Dorm are 10$ p.p.and they got save place for min. 4 motobikes inside

We stayed 3 nights, 78$ with breakfast. It was raining and cold, so the patio was quite dark and damp. We used our own bedding, matrasses are not good, although we slept well, very quiet (little guests). Very friendly though, accompanied me to a good dentist and serve you tea. Laundry service. Wifi slow. Triple A location.

Prices are (still) 8 dollar per person for sleeping in you car or 22 dollars for a 2-person room with bathroom. So we opted for a room, since the parking outside was in plain sight on the dead end street and quite busy The hostel itself is rundown, owners not too friendly and breakfast was poor when we stayed, but wifi works and location is great: 5 mins walk from Registan.

Good located near registon. Friendly English speaking owner. Can also fill your water tanks there with good water!

We could place our foldable caravan just in front of the house on a shady place. The owners are very friendly, kind and supportive. We needed a mechanic for our Landrover, the owner phones one and after twenty minutes he came by to see what is the problem. We payed 8,-$ p.P. and night, got the registration and a good breakfast in a nice atmosphere. Only the toilet and shower could be more clean and there should be at least two of it.

Street parking is dead end, so ok but noisy for those who camp. Directly at Registan it's great location. Wifi almost not working, rooms bad but hot shower. Breakfast ok. 8$pp.

Great location. Booked 4 nights - double room - A/C - Private Bathroom. Pd $26 p.n. Ended up staying 5 nights. Breakfast included - it's OK at least everyday it's a little bit different. Tea and water melon on arrival. Hosts are very helpful. Just ask. Advised us where we could source petrol. Good local restaurant. And provide laundry service for $2/3 per load depending on size. Or facility to hand wash if you prefer. As I did, only had a few things. Money exchange is possible.

in front of the hotel, friendly but dirty, we only used wifi, stay en registratie , we payed for 2 persons 13 dollar a night.

Just horrible (if you were to stay in a room). The only good thing is the location. Could do with a good clean and tidy up - everything felt dirty. Only stay here if desperate and you want to save $2-3. If you have a motorhome then probably ok to camp outside just for registration.

Camping in the street in front of Bahodir Bed and Breakfast in Samarkand. Overlanders place. Price 8 USD per person for shower, toilet and breakfast. You get a room for this. Free wifi.
