Description

The owner allows camping on her property for $20 per night. Showers are $5 per person, and a breakfast is available for $7 a person. The views of Monument Valley are spectacular! It is critical to contact the host before arriving to make sure she can accommodate you, and To pay attention to their advertise directions as Google maps will take you on a 4WD only road. See photo for directions.

Bathroom and shower are in the home of the host. Camping surface is a very fine red sand, a few inches deep. We really enjoyed staying here, and would return in a heartbeat. Going to bed with a moonrise, and waking up with the sunrise over the monuments was a wonderful memory. There is hiking behind the B&B.

Call the B&B before going. We tried calling and the host, Ilene, text us back because our cell signal was bad on the road. When you drive up to the B&B make sure you keep going and don’t stop on the sandy hill. The bright orange sand is very fine. You can park your camper in front of the house for $20 per night and shower is $5 per person. $5 for cereal, toast, eggs, coffee and juice. They even had ice for our drinks. Note you will be going into her house to use the washroom and kitchen. But Ilene and Andy are both very nice. Andy told us where to go hiking and the history of the area. You can even hike to a tower from the back of their B&B. We chose this over the hotel or the KOA to support the locals in the area. Be sure to buy some very reasonably priced and beautiful native jewelry. The sunset and sunrise over the towers at the B&B was absolutely stunning.

Fabulous stop. Dry stop, no electric hook up, but what a view!! $20 for the night, parked about 1km from the road. Eileen, the owner, is very welcoming. she will lend you a weber kettle bbq.

Ignore previous comment - this is actually the wrong address. Make sure you call her for how to get there (DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS).
The road is totally fine if you go the right way

Do not risk driving here if you do not have a 4WD. Or if you do be super super careful (especially if you’re in an escape campervan and your insurance doesn’t cover off-road).
I am currently bogged and don’t have gear to get myself out - will be ok as there’s locals nearby but don’t risk it if you can’t afford to.

Great place to van-camp in Monument Valley. Secure parking in her yard. 15 mins to Forest Gump point and 10 mins to the 17 mile scenic drive.

Ileane the owner is very friendly and helpful. We called and let her know we’re coming on the day and she confirmed she had availability. Charged us $20 for camping + $5 for a shower.

Beautiful views of monument valley from where we parked. Convenient and close to the attractions.

Beautiful quiet spot in front of a private home. Owner charged me $20 for the night (one person and truck camper) and said I could use the shower and sink to do dishes in her home for an extra $5. Call before you arrive, current number located in Google info.

Nice hike behind the house to teardrop arch. Eileen the owner charged us $25 for the night to dry camp. Bathroom in the house was allowed. We didn’t use it cause it rained and the mud would of been horrible.
