Description

Parking next to the road but quiet at night. Only us here, while the spot at Dalton Wells Road was crowded. At the parking lot further, it's written 'no camping', but not here at the entrance.

good spot. a little offroad, but oké with our RV 25' and 2wd. come before it is dark so you see where to ride best. noice is less because of the Mountain but still next to the us191. children were happy with the fireplace.

Report Check-In

Nice area close to the freeway, but being largely on the other side of some small hills minimizes the road noise. There were about a dozen rigs of various types and sizes on this Monday night in April, and room for more, although it was starting to feel crowded. The dirt/gravel road and parking areas are mildly potholed but navigable with a 2wd. Verizon signal is marginal: 1-2 bars that boost to 3-4 with a cell booster, but the underlying internet capacity seemed to degrade over the course of the evening, possibly with a bunch of other campers getting online. We had sufficient bandwidth for streaming at 7pm but had slowed to a crawl by 9pm.

final pullout before "no camping beyond this sign"

this spot is more protected from road by some hills. although still don't road noise..

Stayed here 2 nights. Lots of camp spots with fire pits. Small amount of noise from the highway but it isn't too bad. Nice spot not far from Arches and Canyonlands NP.

Report Check-In

Not crowded at all. Signs just say to camp in designated spots and to not spend more then 14 days.

Very quiet with little noise from the road. Only three other campers here. 1 bar Verizon LTE

Sweet spot after a long drive. My dog are the only ones here by the entrance and there are no signs posted about over night parking. A few fire rings and plenty of room to tuck in with RV or van. Woohoo!

Good spot if you want to head into Arches before timed entry starts at 7am! Didn't really notice the road noise. A bunch of other campers there.

Report Check-In

This is a great spot if you want somewhere to crash before heading into either of the parks. Road is 2WD friendly even in wet weather. About two dozen campers tents and large rigs with slideout. Quiet given it's so close to the road. Donation recommended, donation box by info point.

Stayed here one night. All other blm spots (bluffs / willow springs) we’re packed on a Friday and drove around for 2 hours before trying here. Good spot to just pull in, post up, and sleep. Not really for setting up, but happy to have this when I needed it. Other vans & rvs around.

pulled in here after a stargazing hike in Arches. we continued down the road and found a spot, but by the morning, we continued further down the road and ended up finding a spot closer to Klondike with better AT&T and Verizon service. the roads do connect and you can exit from the Klondike entrance. further down the road was a bit rough, but we managed in our 2WD, taking it slow.
