Latest Check-Ins

Overrated and overpriced. We went there for lunch, but everything was full with tourgroups or tables reserved for big groups. They offered us a small table in the back. Half of the meals on the menu were run out, also crocodile kebab, what we would have liked to eat, so we left.
Seems to have become a too touristic place living on tourgroups.
Just enjoy the few from nearby, we can not recommand this cafe for individual overlanders.

The Lookout Cafe is no longer closed, it has been completely revamped and reopened. It is a spectacular place for a drink or meal, beautiful view over the river. Cocktails are very nice here, and service is impeccable! Can easily walk here from the falls or from town (a local showed us a short cut through the bush back to town).

Closed at the moment. It burned down on Dec 24th! Doesn't look like its gonna open soon

Indeed a lovely view and nice café. When doing a raft tour with 'Wild Horizons' you start the day here as well for the briefing.
