I70 Rest Stop | Informal Campsite

Working bathrooms, we were in a minivan with other campervans and cars. We felt safe.

Spent the night at the rest area in our camper van. There were about 7 cars and many trucks throughout the night. It was quiet and felt secure. Slept like a baby.

Nice rest stop, saw a couple of other people there that looked to be staying the night as well. It's right next to the highway so road noise is to get expected.

Nice enough rest stop for a night! Not too loud during the night. Good Verizon reception.

Not too busy after dark. Nice restrooms. Standard noise from the highway that also dies out 12-5am. There are parking spots behind the buildings so that’s some coverage from idling trucks and highway. As good as rest areas come. Sign says “no camping”. Doesn’t say anything about overnight parking.

Stopped around 9:00PM. Seemed ok but after sleeping a few hours I heard people talking loudly. There were three cars of people hanging out drinking. Seemed very sketchy so I moved onto the next rest area.

Very quiet & safe place for a quick rest or overnight parking.

These coordinates are specifically for those traveling I70 East. If you are going I70 West it will try to take u to next exit to turn u around. Both sides have clean bathrooms,vending,and shaded areas to sit after stretching your legs.

We parked around the back side of the circle. A little quieter as further from highway. Rules sign says no cannot but not no overnights. Be discrete.
