Spent a very quiet and peaceful night. Beautiful location on the James River. Was the only camper there. Would recommend to others.

There's three things going on here. 1) There's Kingsland Marina and The Lilly Pad Restaurant. Best to get permission to park over there. 2) There's a HUGE paved parking lot for the County Boat Ramp/Boat Launch and docks for fishing and boating. 3) There's Osbourne Park - a 2-part playground and picnic pavillion with gazebo, heated bathrooms and multi-use trails/paths. The huge parking area is best for overnight parking. It is quiet after fishermen leave and the Lilly Pad closes by 11 pm latest. The Lilly Pad has amazing pizza and a really cool scene with fire bowls and outdoor seating. This is a gem and a wonderful, safe, clean place to spend a night or two discreetly. Be respectful, follow all rules and it will be awesome! Beautiful sunsets over the river.

This place is great, stayed here a couple nights. Woke up to like 30+ trucks and boat trailers on Saturday morn but nobody gave me any issues
Nice and dark and quiet at night but a more well lit area available if you like

Nice spot close to The Lily Pad. Live music Saturday night, good vibes. Very quiet after that during the night.

Quiet, even with live music at Lily Pad. Nice sunrise and sunset.

There are 3 lots. One for the park (close to the bathrooms, brightly lit, and there was a private event there when I arrived), the marina (much larger, darker, also for Lilly Pad), and a small park with a playground (next to the road, so I didn’t park there, but it also has bathrooms).

Nice spot to relax doing the night. The Lily pad restaurant is open with a Live band. There are bathrooms on site and unlocked. Lots of boats out during the day but at 7:00 p.m. all the boats were gone and just people at the Lily pad restaurant bar-and-grill. Sprint Internet working well.

Called Max as described. He stated he does not own the marina, only the restaurant. The park/boat ramp has lots of parking and stated it should be ok to stay there. Or park at the marina. No need to call him, and asked us to post something to that effect as he doesn't really want the phone calls. Spent two nights in the trailer parking with no issues. Parked out of the way of boat ramp. Police did drive through during the day, but did not stop. Be respectful of this place as it is a nice spot for a day or two, and if abused, could easily see it being shut down.

Gorgeous spot with zero problems. Bathrooms remained unlocked at the park right next to the marina all night long and they were in great shape. We were the only vehicle in the parking lot.

very Nice place to stay ! close from a fishing pier and a children parc. quiet, birds, nature. toilets available with electricity inside.

This is a beautiful marina with 13 acres of property located right next to the Osbourn Park and boat Landing. The Kingsland Marina is owned by a really awesome guy named Max. Please call him ahead of time at 804-615-4727 for permission to park/stay overnight. During their active season they have a restaurant on site called the Lillypad.
