Gravel pullout next to CA-1. Great views of the coastline. Pretty quiet even though it is close to the highway.
This "place" is really 3 places. There is a paved pull-out overlook with a nice heavy memorial picnic table. The table has a granite center with a dedication to Randy Fry. The "Fry" area is a bit below a gravel/dirt peak area with a nice size parking area. Below that is a third gravel/dirt area. The view is spectacular! The ocean waves make the loudest noise. There is not much traffic noise. I stayed on the peak and loved it. Thank you! I wish I could send you a picture of the "Fry table." (Perhaps the area should be called the "Fry Pullout" since the area is north of Fort Bragg.)

Good location for the night. Several campers/cars. Gorgeous views. Wish people would be a little more respectful of the environnement as you see toilet paper everywhere. Please keep it clean!
Report Check-InThere are no signs or whatsoever but this pullout is apparently private land but the owners are okay with overnight parking. Do make sure to keep it clean! Excellent place to sleep, amazing sunset here. Thank you!
Report Check-InGreat boondocking location. Right on the ocean and off the road to be safe. Best views!!!! We met several other campers and had a great time. We could have stayed here for several nights. ATT and Verizon signals were great. Plenty of space which varied from flat and level to some slope. We parked near the emergency call box.

We have a 17ft travel trailer. No issue to park. Big rig ok as well
A nice spot, closed to the road but beautifull and for free! It's allowed
Report Check-InPerfect free place to stay overnight, great view, safe and quiet...and a lot of spots...there were a few campervans and people with tents staying...also people who sleept in the car too...so don't worry and enjoy this spot!(watch for the sea lions)
