This spot was awesome as I drove up to Yosemite. It is on the freeway side of the frontage road in a little dirt patch that could fit 4-5 cars/vans. No signs anywhere. It is right across from the public park so we didn’t cross over but it looked like another van was parked on that side of the road. Right next to a McDonalds so good WiFi and close to a gas station (honestly the most expensive one in the area though)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Fine little dirt pull off across from the park near McDonalds. Highway noise, 4 bars LTE AT&T. A cop knocked on my car around 10pm to make sure I was okay and said it was totally fine to park overnight. He warned that there’s a lot of theft in the area and to be careful. I didn’t have any other issues.
Report Check-InVery nice spot. We spent a night in the parking space near to the park, baseball stadium. Nobody was interested in our van. In the morning we saw the police car but they just checked our car and that was all. I highly recommend this place. We were on the road to Yosemite.
Report Check-InOpen parking. I stayed a night in the street around the opposite end of the baseball field. It’s so nice to walk outside on grass in the morning. Bathroom was open, and the little workout station was cool. Would recommend.
Report Check-InFreeway noise was hilariously loud but probably preferable to the in/out noise of a truck stop. It felt pretty secluded. Kids walking by on the way to school eyeballing my van (one had a baseball bat lol) but otherwise fine. I’d sleep here again.
Report Check-InWasn't quite sure where to park so stopped in the parking lot. Toilets were closed. Could still get McDonalds WiFi.
Report Check-InGreat quiet roadside spot, secluded and little traffic, opposite a nice little park.
Road noise from the highway, but worth it for ease of access from the highway.
Nothing great to look at, nothing to write home about, but very pleasant for what it is.
Great alternative to truck stop. Stayed here one night no problems, no "no parking" signs. Nice park with fitness area and playground. Bathrooms close and water fountains. I stayed on the side street next to the field but you could probably park in the spaces in the park and be fine. Any size rigs will be fine on the street
Report Check-InSeems legit. Definately some road noise from the 99. Should be much warmer than Fresno Walmart.
