We left the car during 4 day. We paid for 3 night. Very easy to left the car. Security guards 24h.

Noel works for the cathedral and runs the service for parking your vehicle at St Joseph's. WhatsApp +255689424580 He was very helpful and we stored our overlanding truck here for 7 days while we went to Zanzibar. It could not be more convenient as it is right opposite the port. we paid 10000tzs per day and Noel also accompanied us to get our ferry tickets and then took us to the gate for the port. This was really helpful as it was quite chaotic and he just led us through the crowds. On our return the truck was exactly as we left it apart from needing a clean due to bird droppings. we did not leave our keys with Noel and disabled the truck too, but that is just our choice. Only deal with Noel, we messaged him to arrange and then when we arrived at the cathedral and he was there in a couple of minutes.

Great storage site! Noel super helpful and charged me only 5000 shillings per day for 3 weeks storage. He also turned the motorcycle on periodically in Oder for the battery not to drain. He’s a real gem to work with.

Very convenient and secure parking if you’re catching the ferry to zanzibar. Call Noel to confirm availability +255 68 942 4580. Charges 10,000 per day (5usd). Just FYI, you need to leave the car keys to Noel, not sure why. Traffic gets really bad especially during rush hour. Plan accordingly.
Noel will help you book tickets for the ferry if needed

When we arrived at the cathedral there was a person named Charles who claimed to be in charge there. It took us a while to figure out to better only talk to Noel. Wait for Noel and discuss everything with him. He can also help you with the tickets.

We contacted Noel and left our car for 6 nights at 10,000TSH pn. He was very helpful. It’s just opposite the ferry to Zanzibar so was very convenient.

You can safely store your car here for Tzs10.000 a day at the church grounds with 24/7 security. Just call Mr Noel a day before to make sure there is space 0689424580
