We (2 cyclists) camped on Elvis his patio ($5 pp, a good deal). Elvis responded quickly on our message and said we could arrive at 6pm. We ate pupusas in town first. Shower and toilet ok. Some roadnoise. Left 8am next morning. Good place stay for a night!

This is very good bet! Either Elvis let you sleep at his house (electricity, toilet, shower provided) or there is municipal place too. Elvis very very kind person who won't let you down!
I camped at his house (under the roof) for $5. I say very fair price.

We only meet Elvis but we also have a big female dog Dogo argentino and this wouldn t work my dog is very territorial but Elvis was very helpfull and help us to find another pöace the main pool from the village just 3 blocks from his house. We pay 10us for 2 people and they let us use the shower and the wc on the next building hotel ( belongs also to the city)

Wonderful spot in the small village and Elvis was very kind to us. We had a good sleep in the tent.

It was a pleasure to meet Elvis.
We were able to pitch our tents on his terrace, there is a shower, toilets and potable water. Even an outside plug if you wanna reload your stuff

Elvis is very kind and made everything so we feel comfurtable.

We camped on Elvis porch in out tent for the night loads of space, everything as described previously. We had a peaceful night sleep, Elvis also joined us for some pupusas in town and showed us around all in all a nice evening!

Useful and fun spot to stop for the night, for $7. I'm on a bicycle and camped on the tiled patio, with private shower and toilet. Elvis and Vanessa (and their 3 month old baby!) were very welcoming and Elvis took me out for a stroll around the town and to eat ALL the local foods we could find around town that evening!

Uploading some of my photos and photos Elvis shared with me of other visiting cyclists too.

Report Check-In

Stayed for one night at Elvis his driveway. Our truck camper didn't fit under the roof (which is about 2 meters high) so we slept at an uneven part of his driveway. Was behind his gate do very safe.

The town is very small and they don't see a lot of travellers. Elvis told us that he would like to increase his price because it was quite a lot of work for him. If people would accept he would like to ask 7$ pp. He also has free drinking water + a hose (it's tap water but everyone drinks it, we also did). In general it's a decent place to crash for the night.

Elvis's place is very nice. As well as him and his wife. We went there by bike without warning but his neighbours were very nice to call him to ask.
He came later, and cleaned the whole place for us. 5$/ppl to get access to a place to camp, cold shower (but very worth it), toilets, WiFi.
Elvis was very nice and would like to develop this place for further overlanders. We went with him to eat very good pupusas, and later he was keen to have a beer or Two with us.
Felt safe and very quiet town at night. Just know that if you camp with a tent it will be on floor tile.
We recommand this place if you're around.

Elvis was quick to respond to our WhatsApp inquiry. When we arrived, he immediately offered fresh marañón (cashew apple!) from his trees, which is absolutely delicious! Elvis is a wealth of knowledge and is eager to share the history of El Salvador and the natural beauty that exists in the landscape. He was a great host and can facilitate tours of the area. Was a comfortable stay and good stopover.
