Ivan es un mecánico especialista en VW. Especialista y mago xq saca piezas de la galera. Es una persona muy profesional y hace lo que sea para poder ayudarte a arreglar y conseguir las piezas necesarias para que tú VW ande. Nosotros tuvimos problemas con la dirección y con vs piezas de las ruedas y todo lo fue consiguiendo buscando y buscando. Nunca te va a dejar tirado. Aparte de ser una excelente persona es un excelente profesional. Si hijo Andrés sigue sus pasos y es tan profesional y dedicado como él. Fue realmente un placer y una suerte para nosotros poder encontrarlos para poder dejar nuestra kombi andando nuevamente de 10!

Sr Ivan and his son Andres are not only great VW mechanics with many years of experience, but also just the nicest and kindest people. We ended up doing several services with them along our 6 months in Ecuador, including basic oil and filter changes, injector cleaning, break and front axis maintenance, suspension work and probably other stuff. He also helped us changing one of our front seats, coordinating with other people to make the adaptations. All of the services were really well done, he was very calm and patience and explained us everything, showing us the problems, during the whole time. They were definitely the best people to have ever worked in our Brazilian water cooled kombi. They kindly allowed us to stay for several days at their space while the services were being done. I can’t express how grateful we are for sr. Ivan and his beautiful family. Oh, make sure you eat Clarita’s (Ivan’s wife) lunch while you are here, amazing food.

Brought my T6.1 in on New Year's Eve with a DPF issue. He tried for a couple of days to help, including bringing in VW techs to consult. He's a great guy and wants to help, but more geared towards older VWs with mechanical issues. Great experience when we were a bit stressed.

He followed up after we took the van to the dealer, and after consulting Germany they got the ECU unlocked so the DPF forced Regen could work.

Mr Ivan is an incredible person, and super professional, we arrived here desperate with a very large oil leak and no power in the Kombi after two weeks of having the engine done in Cuenca and he promptly received us, lowered the engine again and resolved the issue which was poorly done. I highly recommend it!

Mr. Ivan is really special. very friendly and helpful, he helped us with the brakes and a car computer error. he has a great foster space. we took a hot shower. We fill the water tank. we highly recommend the site.

We had a problem with our Mitsubishi L300 and Ivan was the only mechanic who responded during the Easter period and we couldn't be happier we landed at his taller.

He will thoroughly check your vehicle with the most care, and isn't shy to ask for second or third opinions with other mechanics in the neighborhood. For example everything lead towards a faulty MAF sensor, but he took it to a specialist first to check if it really was faulty so we didn't spend over $100 on a new one for nothing, and turns out it wasn't broken. He really wants to help you and make sure you're satisfied.

Super overland friendly, we could camp in his workshop, we were invited in his home several times to share dinner with other travellers who had their van there, were able to take a shower and even do laundry. We ended up staying almost a week. It will without a doubt be one of the most warm and welcoming families you'll meet on the road.

Mind you he has more experience with older carburator engines and less with injection but he'll do anything he can, and if he cannot help you, he'll have the right referral for you!

Ivan is VW Van mechanical expert with more than 25 of experience in VW and also well recommend by travellers and locals. Also has a plenty space (with bathroom and hot shower) to receive overlanders while repairing our vans. We did some maintenance: breaks, injection, filters and suspensions, also he fixed a leaking of our gas tank. Very good mechanical, good team, reasonable price and lovely family to share.
