Description

UPDATE: 03/03/2020 Water Is Not Potable... It has a very bad smell. No Showers.

YPF with Infinia gas. Restaurant and good bathrooms. Good spot for a night. Bought some souvenirs here and charged our devices while on the fast Wi-Fi.
You can rent a shower at the YPF Station for 50 ARG and you get an entire, well-heated and clean cabin to use the bathroom in. It’s a perfect price/value situation, we can only recommend this gas station!! Sleeping there is also perfectly fine and the Wifi is really good!

Übernachten heute hier an der Tanke. Ist nicht mehr YPF. Also heute auch keine Dusche.

Report Check-In

Good place for the night. We weee going to sleep on Calafate, but glad we stopped here for the night. Nice parking spot, clean bathrooms. Almost no motorbikes stop here, so it’s pretty quiet except for the occasional truck.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

dormimos uma noite neste posto, aberto 24h, com uma boa conveniência, mas sem chuveiros.

Great place, we stayed here on the way to Ushuaia and on the way back, perfect distance to split this long drive over two days if you want to take it slow. Toilets, water and they let us empty our portapotti without any fuss. There is a hotel here too. Quiet at night, no dramas

Report Check-In

Passamos a noite atrás do posto de combustíveis. Pouco vento, seguro e tranquilo.

Report Check-In

Dormimos uma noite por aqui. Lugar tranquilo. Não tinha Wi-Fi.

NO SHOWERS

Good WIFI

Not much of a selection of food... mostly junk food. They have prepared sandwiches and meals that are very expensive.

Report Check-In

No showers. We asked at the gas station and the hotel. Shop in the YPF is indeed nice, wifi works.

Report Check-In

Good place for one night. Offers wind protection, a shop which sells almost everything, even fruits, and sometimes you have fast WiFi.

Report Check-In

Shop is good indeed and the bathrooms quite clean. But the station is a mess (big construction) and the town is awfully depressing. Stop if you have to, otherwise you will find so much nicer before of after.

Report Check-In

Depressing town. Not very welcoming either. We tried to find showers but we were told that there are none available anywhere. we tried the YPF station, the hotel and a small Cabana place. Nothing. :(

Report Check-In

Charged us 80 ARG but it was nice to have a whole motel room to use and the shower was hot.

Report Check-In

Nice shop with several food choices. Getting gas was more difficult: they would only accept visa-debit or cash... the guy working at the pump also didn’t seem to be in a good mood and didn’t even want to try our cards or work out a solution (it wasn’t clear to us they only accept a VISA debit before he filled the car up)
After A LOT of talking they finally let us pay via Transferwise.
