Description

This is a lovely hostel, just across the road from another place listed on here, called Hostel Achalay (which was full when we arrived but very helpful and pointed us this way!)

The staff are lovely and very informative, the kitchen is a good size and there are lots of areas to hang out. It is well situated with regards to grocery stores, speciality diet shops, bike shops, restaurants, bars/ breweries, Lago etc etc. The WiFi doesn’t work in the bedrooms so well if at all, but just fine in all the other nice spaces.

We arrived with two heavily laden bikes and no booking anywhere. They were totally happy to have us, and the bikes went into a locked safe room opposite reception so I am confident of their security! The private room with bathroom was lovely, it was $1500ap for the private room and we took a room in a dorm for $500ap the next night. This was cheaper than many others we saw but generally everywhere of the same style is within the same price range. The interior is something like ski chalet, wooden etc, the place is warm and comfortable.

Very nice hostel. We had a large private room with private bathroom. Great staff. We could store our bicycles inside.
